UNIQUE & EFFECTIVE SWIMMING PROGRAM
I'm ready to start! What do I need to know?
- Please do not feed your child at least 90 minutes before lesson.
- All children under 3 years old or children not potty trained, regardless of age must wear a disposable swim diaper as well as a washable diaper cover. A diaper cover will be provided for all new students.
- For your child's comfort, please bring two towels, one for your child to lie on and one for drying off.
- Please apply sun-screen 30 minutes prior to lesson to ensure proper handling of your child during the lesson.
- Friday is Family Day! Every Friday, we invite parents and/or caregivers to join in the fun!
Tips For Parents
Positive Support:
Give your child positive support during the lesson, it means a great deal to them!Smile with yours eyes as well as your mouth!
Be upbeat and encourage your child with a positive attitude.
Praise Specific Actions:
Great Kicking!
Good swimming with your face in the water!
Nice floating with resting toes!
No other sport is more vital to your child's health and well being. We strongly recommend ongoing practice and participation in our advanced programs.

I'm pretty sure the kid who will drown Michael Phelps' record a decade from now will have a history that includes Aqua Child. I took my 15 month-old daughter for six weeks, and she learned how to hold her breath, float and what to do if she ever falls in the pool. Along the way, she also learned the pool is pretty awesome and it's fun to jump in and put your face in the water. Infant survival skills and giving confidence in the water is what Aqua Child excels at. The programs philosophy is nothing short of brilliant. Your child attends class Monday through Friday for 10 minutes. And mom and dad stay out of the water.
